We also got Contract 96, tremendous outsourcing (ASA with 100 seaters), a NWA strike, an APA pretend strike and a few other things to go along. TWA was dead when C2K was signed, they just didn't know it yet.

2) You can't make that criticism without condemning the path that virtually every civilian pilot has taken to Delta Air Lines... i.e. almost every civilian pilot has worked for low wages as part of the path to achieving his/her career objective.
And you can't complain about mission statements and rhetoric when the path you chose undermined those things that you claim to seek. That would be hypocritical, wouldn't it.
