On the fuel burn issue, I've seen EMB 145's with the AE3007-A1 engine burning less than 2000 lbs per hour at cruise (total, so less than 1000 per side), which is a very small number. I'd imagine a CRJ-200, being heavier, burns more, but can't say for sure.
We normally burn around 1300lbs a side in cruse at FL36/37.
1000 a side would be if we were holding or cruse for around .65 Mach. I am curious though.. What is the burn for a CRJ200 at FL36/37??
