The original poster on the topic mocked the fact that Lynx guys weren't "worthy", and that's why I replied to it... too lazy to go back and find it. I never made a claim to higher seniority. I was only referring to interviews. The rest of the world knows you must interview and actually be hired to fly an Airbus or Boeing.
We all knew what first pay was to start at Lynx and were told it would be comparable to Horizon after we started generating revenue. Our pilot handbook came out the month before we started flying. This was the first time anyone saw second year pay, work rules, etc. I wouldn't do THAT again but hindsight is 20/20. If the rest of the fuel, recession mess hadn't happened maybe Lynx would have lived up to its potential... but it never had the chance.
Just because we flew TP for crappy pay don't assume our qualifications are crappy. "Further along in their career" is different based on your perspective.
Good luck... I'm out.
