Hey guys, something I noticed today in the March bid.
According to the Pilot count we have exactly 1000 in the roster. Supposedly we only lost 13 in Feb. That total remaining include 50 & 70/90. My believe is out that total, about 620 (+/-) are DTW based.
The hours for DTW are a tad over 10k for March (1K more that Feb). So my question is, how do they expect to cover all that flying since we were barely able the cover Feb with less hours and more pilots?. Yes they are moving people from CVG, but we are still losing more people between now and end of March. I'm a bit perplexed byt this.
Anyone with a good theory, I'd like to hear it.

My theory: Simple bean counter cause-and-effect. The aircraft scheduled for the graveyard will be sent there quicker and those that aren't will either be parked or sent somewhere else. Crew planning and forecasting most likely has no idea either. What ISN'T going to happen is some last minute reversal of fortune. Just an opinion from your Uncle MuMu.
