Mark, I hear you! It really makes no sense that you can drop a trip at will but you can't ever move/drop an R day. I understand peak season, but trying to move an R day from a Tuesday to Wednesday in the middle of February should be possible. It's ridiculous that there is absolutely no way to adjust your schedule.
I guess this is another worthless contract clause:
"Moving an R-day(s)
A pilot shall have the ability to submit to move an R-day(s) within a bid period and that submission shall not be unreasonably denied."
I guess any request is unreasonable....
