Actually, Comair still grew, but grew less rapidly in the two years after the strike. The first three months after the strike was spent getting pilots requalled, then hiring picked up again for about a year and a half as the 70s and 40s (ordered before the strike) were delivered.
By the end of 2003 hiring was winding down and only a couple new-hire classes were run in 2004-2005 until we took the dangling carrot from FredEx.
