Maybe the union should have it's own union - oh wait, it does, and it pays a lot better than being a garden variety line pilot, and you get weekends and holidays off to boot.

Please give an example of a single regional contract where the pay rates are near their mainline partner, where any flying has been recaptured , or where management has ever stopped trying to outsource.(Management parking 50 seaters because they are too expensive on a CASM/RASM basis is not ALPA's doing)

That's pure pie-in-the-sky. The regional's are important because you can now not get elected ALPA president without pandering to them. Even Moak loves them now.
