Odd
I say this because I remember a news article about a younger person attempting to sue Mc Donalds in CA over the fact that the younger person was being "overcharged" due to age discrimination. They based this claim on the fact that they couldn't obtain the Senior Citizen discount on their purchases.
The case ended with the Judge throwing the case out because The State of California doesn't have any age discrimination laws!
I always thought that couldn't be right. Of all the states how could CA not have any? Unless it's been Hollyweird protecting their rights to fire old actors.
It made me want to set up some publicity stunts using age discrimination to get media attention and awareness that somehow CA skipped out on getting these laws in place.
But who knows maybe the reporter got their facts wrong.
