I used to swap legs with the FO like clipperskipper said (though didn't swap seats). In fact, I never took a leg from the other guy if it was his turn in the rotation. FOs are in training for upgrade; can't hide from the bad weather and expect the ATP fairy to sprinkle you with that experience overnight.
