ALRIGHT I DO HAVE INFO...the company is VERY hard on the Chinese students...my guess is IASCO policy. I worked there as a Dispatcher and also worked at Ground/Flight Campuses. Yes, pay for a CFI starts at $17 and ends at about $21 depending on if you are certified as Private, Instrument, etc. They are not exactly 'easy' on the CFI's either but if you are a good instructor and don't get a student that wants to flunk out to go back to China--then you are doing good.
I learned quickly that having an "in" knowing someone there gets you a job easily--knowing no one there? NOT so easy. But good luck--hope this helps answer your questions, and if you want to pick my brain more go right ahead-they just let me go recently- and it is ripe for the picking!
