Sorry to resurrect and hijack an old thread, I also have been offered a position at both Skywest and Eagle. Skywest would be on the Bro which would most likely mean FAT. I'm being told you can hold a line at FAT right out of training. Eagle is a toss up on where I would end up (preferably MIA). I will be commuting from MCO due to reasons outside of the airlines. I know commuting is a bear but is it better to do a long two leg commute to a line or a relatively shorter one leg commute to reserves?
First off, congrats on getting two offers. You are in a good spot to have the option to pick one over the other.
Commuting sucks. Throw in a 2 legger and the charlie foxtrot factor rises at an enormous rate. Especially cross country. If you're fixed in the MCO area, go where you can have the shortest/easiest commute if possible.
