Fair question. I had 262 TT when I got hired in '07, no CFI, only commercial ME. I was very lucky to get that job. I would have been stupid to turn down a 121 turbine gig because I wanted to fly corporate eventually. Now I have 10x the hours I did then, 90% of it turbine, transport, multi crew, and 2 type ratings. It was a gateway job to gain some great experience. Now I can realistically begin applying for the jobs I wanted from the beginning.
