Hello,

I will be in the San Jose area for the next 6 months on a job assignment and was looking for a recommendation of a good flight school to obtain my instrument rating and possibly start the commercial.

I am looking for a school/instructor that doesn't mind flying in actual IMC and I would prefer to fly either Cherokee's or later model 172's (R/S/SP).

So far my internet research has led me to:

AeroDynamic Aviation @ RHV (only older model 172s)

Trade Winds @ RHV (they seem pricey?)

I've never joined a club, but these two seem to have good prices and aircraft:

Squadron2 @ RHV

Oakland Flyers @ OAK

Any thoughts or experiences you could share are much appreciated. I'm not used to having such a choice in flight schools!
