Anytime the members have to introduce resolutions to have the union do things they should already be doing, it IS fighting our own members. No talking points, no drama...just fact. One of the most frustrating things about dealing with ALPA/DALPA is the sense that we have to fight our own union leadership as hard as management. That's sad.

There is nothing factual about such an opinion based statement. Delta Air Lines did not hire anyone with 200 hours to fly Delta passengers. If you think that's enough time to qualify you to be an airline pilot, I can't help you.

OK drama queen, I've never said any of that. I'm not saying I don't want them, I'm saying I want them to compete with the military, corporate and non-sched guys to get on the Delta seniority list. Not a back door entry to the Delta list because you hired on with an RJ airline with under a thousand hours.

I'm not surprised you don't want to respond to an accurate translation of what you really want. You really want the back door entry to the Delta seniority list for the RJ pilots who didn't hire on with Delta. You felt like you suffered by not hiring on with Delta 10 years prior to when you did. You don't want anymore RJ pilots to suffer as you did. That's no reason to do a mass hiring of many unqualified pilots to one of the most experienced and qualified seniority lists in the world. And to rename this idiotic effort as "unity" is just...well, idiotic.
