Where else are you going to get a command on a wide body in 7-10 years? Nowhere....especially not in the US. I find that the LINE pilots I fly with are top notch and allow me to make decisions regarding the legs I fly and only rarely interject. I am certainly glad I came to EK and after 10 years of left seat experience, I am glad that I get experience in this new environment from the right seat prior to being in the hot seat.
You will see what i mean when you experience the EK training department. Something needs to be changed in training to attract good instructors who give a crap about their students, not just guys who like to have power over other peoples futures to go along with their huge egos.
