Commuting can be difficult but not impossible. All regions have outstation bases so you end away from the hub you will be commuting from so it turns any one leg commute ie. STL-EWR into a two legger ie. MWA-STL-EWR.
90% of our flying is done single pilot. So in turn 90% of our hiring is guys with or close to ATP mins as it's needed for single pilot scheduled 135. Rumor is our STL stuff will soon be single pilot, so that will decrease our need for first officers even more.
thanks for the info. So a couple more questions: How would a commute from DFW look like, and what would live be like on an average week? Also, if i had the ATP mins, what would the multi requirement look like? And is it ATP mins or 135 mins? Single engine time is no problem for me, its that pesky Multi!
