Interviewed in late Oct. Just got the rejection letter. Sim went well and I thought the interview did also (I'm sure I didn't "wow" them, but I'm not an a$$ either). Maybe next time I'll do a formal prep. I'm pretty sure my qualifications and experience are what they are looking for:

Current 747-400 Freighter F/O
Worldwide operating experience
4 yr degree
Multiple type ratings
No failed checkrides
No accidents, incidents, etc.
No criminal record or driving record
7500 TT
2500 Turbine PIC

Does it usually take 4 weeks to get rejected? Is it possible that something came up they didn't like in a background check? Do they even do a background check prior to notification? Or maybe I just screwed up the best opportunity to have the career I've always dreamed of. I'll probably never know.
