I don't think your 17k/yr CRJ FO is too pleased about the situation either, I know being stuck at a regional for the better part of a decade was not my intention when I committed to an airline career.

The only ones "taking" anything are lying management snakes, and ALL airline pilots have been shafted by the way the profession has been decimated.
