So why is it that there is not some way to have online meetings, has DALPA gotten so proactively engaged with Delta management that they have actually hired Delta technology to solve this tech problem?

The point was made over a year ago, that the end user security is the issue. Most of us cannot fathom someone taping a LEC meeting, or better yet, logging in with a group of individuals present that "may" use what is said against those pilots.

I know crazy that someone would be fired or punished over something, but errant comments about job action etc at a meeting may be used against someone.

That said, our guys have been looking it to some way to go "live" with these meeting for some time. I guess if we push hard enough they will rush to press on it, and then when someone gets burned, we already know who we will blame for not being careful enough.

I know that statement irks people, but those are the facts. Not all people want what is best for you or us. I definitely would not want to see some of the comments made at meeting showing up on You Tube or in the press. As they say, once it is on the internet it is there forever.
