Very true. We are lucky that in a base of almost 4000 pilots we get 35 line pilots to attend. When there is a resolution that has been given a lot of press you might see 80.

This always kills me, that ALPA gripes about how few attend the meetings. Could be that half or more are working, god only knows how many more commute. Cannot understand why ALPA has not figured out a way to have more participation in the meetings, ie webcast, etc. where more could participate from home and even vote on issues at the meetings from HOME. The tech is there, why not use it? Maybe they want the power to control things and then fall behind the "only 7 showed up" argument.

Sure apathy is present, but I contend less of it would be around if we had more of an opportunity to participate in the meetings from anywhere in the world, which is how much some categories are scattered.
