Im 1350ish with 70 multi. Not going to buy those 30 hours to get an interview.
I fly pipeline and instruct on the side, and thats what Ill do until 1500 is law, at which point I will evaluate whether or not to head 121.
My hourly and daily rates are set based on what I feel I should be compensated for my skills. All in all to go regional airline FO right now would be a 60% pay cut, not to mention forking over 4k to get those 30 hours of 'experience.'
Outsider looking in, I know, but this is the game plan that I share with other pilots looking 121 right now without seeing the big picture two years from now.
How about you?
