No offense intended, but you really should reconsider taking out your frustration on an employer, especially if you have sent an application/resume without doing some basic research.

It's a small community in aviation and not too difficult to pass along information, which may either benefit or hurt you in the future.

Next time you're faced with such situation, a simple response is probably the best choice: "Thank you for the offer to interview (or offer of employment), but after careful consideration, I have decided not to pursue this opportunity due to other personal committments. Should my situation change in the future I hope that I might be able to reapply and be considered by your company. Best wishes in your candidate search. Sincerely, Joe Pilot"
