Airlines do not hide their fees. Obviously fees have to be published to be collected. Airlines do hide the taxes.

My proposed solution: Make the government collect their own taxes. Make the government set up check points and collect terminal fees like they do every where else on the planet. Airlines should not have to fill the role of tax collector.

My guess is the result would be public recognition of the more efficient airports and the public shaming of those airports who over charge.
