I received the same email. Several times. I unable to get the recent time requirements due to a slow down in my contract pilot flying(Piper Cheyenne II turbo prop). I called Great Lakes to see if there was any waiver but there was not. I have 1750 tt, 440 multi with 112 multi turbine, Just passed ATP written. Not good enough. I am forced to go fly a C150 for 20 hours to get the 35 hrs in 90 days/ 80 hrs in 6 months. Free plane just pay for fuel. Rather get kicked in the nuts!
Call me crazy but I want to go to Great Lakes for the type flying and training. Cut my commercial flying teeth flying freight for G.T.A. Air inc. out of Addison, Tx. So.... never had autopilot(to speak of) or GPS. Pay, well I'm not making much right now anyway.
If anyone knows a different approach on how to get an interview with G.L.A., chime in!!
Don't want to step on any toes. Just get an interview!!
