Let's cut NCR757 some slack... Gutsy move jumping on this forum to ask what we know as basic and simple facts. I'm sure nobody told him when we sense weakness, we attack at the smell of blood!

Easy for us to talk of service, commitment, etc because we're all in the thick of it. I know for me, pretty confident of 3 things: 1) Not sure I would joined without an aviation guarantee (Navy AOCS) 2) Never thought I'd be in for 20yrs 3) Had little/no idea of of the impact the amazing and selfless feats the sailors I've served with would have on my life when I joined.

Fully realize the airlines (assuming I get an interview when the time comes this fall) will never be as fufilling as the past 20yrs but thankful for the experience and look forward to the change.
