That sounds OK, but many part 91 owners would like to fly them, and there is the insurance issue. The airlines are concerned about "amatures" in jets, and are making noise---noise that could hurt us who fly as non-airline professionals. It is in our interest to eliminate stupid stuff before it hurts us. So the next time someone spouts off about next year there will be 40,000 VLJs in the air, remind everyone it is probably BS.

Eclipse is selling this whole "new" "air taxi" thing, which is what 135 has been and still is. Charter jets have been around for a while. Nothing really new here.

As far as you getting into a jet--I can't wait for you either.
