I worked for American Express for few years and the DELTA SKYMILES Credit card was one of the cards I had to service. Those that HELD the DL card were the most rudest, pompass group I had ever spoke with. If they missed the due date and were charged a finance fee they pitched a B I T C H. AmEx rule was you could have one late payment waived per year. Many did not want to make a phone payment or online. So many card holders are still mailing in a payment. So if the mail service does not get it there they complain. I would not SOLICIT for an AMEX card under any conditions PERIOD. AMEX has so many call centers in INDIA it really P I S S E E S off the members. AMEX just closed one of their biggest call centers in GSO. So I am sure the calls are going to INDIA BIG TIME.
