I agree with you. If you think I was inferring a SLI, you are dead wrong. An agreement among MEC's and companies at most. We could go down the SLI route, but frankly I do not think it is needed nor warranted.
Doing something for fellow ALPA pilots does not mean screwing the bottom of our list. There are many ways to come to agreements that protect everyone, and Bar and I have repeatedly stated the most logical one. The reality is that, first we need to be in a position to do this type of deal, and until we recapture all narrow gauge coded flying, the issue is moot.
What I did say was that we should not fear and SLI. Category, status, pay, career expectations, etc are all in our favor. Plus I do not think one pilot has ever willingly gone from a Major to a Regional.
