I would love to fly the 747 - that is just awesome.
The other isssue is your training failure. I agree with Rick that it should be a PRIA event and will most likely show on your pria records. Either way I would disclose and let the chips fall will they may I really think most companies would understand, some may not you can not worry about those.
When I took my recurrent PC, I had flown 2 days in 90; I knew going in that there was a risk of failing the event - I was super rusty and as you know, regionals are not going to give you sim time to get proficient. I own the mistakes that I made (nothing major like busting limitations or getting lost, just some minor stuff [which kept adding up, lol] that bothered the CKA and the Fed that was observing), but I really like what you said about not worrying about the companies that won't hire me, that's very sage advice.
