I still miss college after being out for almost 3 years!!
The friends I've made, parties, and late night random adventures we took to get away from the craziness are priceless. I simply wish I could go back. But mostly, I miss the education. I have made friends with a couple of professors and have been very much in touch ever since. When I talk to a prof. it brings back happy memories of school. I doubt an online degree would have given me nearly the satisfaction I experienced.
