I never said they were, it's blatantly obvious that they were in fact not a threat. That's not the point. It's about not
playing the odds, something you should know quite a bit about as a Captain considering it's a concept which should be an integral part of your daily decision making processes. Monday morning quarterback your colleagues who erred on the side of safety is beyond cheap shot. And like it or not, they ARE your colleagues.
