I went on one over New Years - 2006.
I thought it would be all primary colors and Disney characters bugging you every 3 minutes at dinner.
We met quite a few people traveling WITHOUT children.
One particular couple were experiences cruise veterans. I asked them why they would go on a Disney cruise if they didn't have children. They said that Disney was in the top of the cruise lines.
My experience was a very good one except for the Castaway Island on the last day. Big storms, rain, cold, windy, etc.... Kind of ruined the whole day at the deserted island thing.

The old man and I took a Caribbean cruise during Christmas some years ago and had a real blast and wish it had lasted longer .
Always wondered what a TransAtlantic crossing would be like .
