You could still apply to PSA and maybe Republic...both great airlines with a great future, if that is important to you? I would even recommend commutair right there at IAD in your backyard! There will be growth at IAD, and it will be given to a airline that can staff. For sure reread these boards and don't feel rushed due to 57,000

On the one hand...
I would still recommend Air Wisconsin to certain demographic candidates. Current, proficient, single, lives near ORD/MKE. It's still a fantastic group of people working there, and the company is sitting on a lot of opportunity for long term growth and sustainment, if it were to choose, among other things, to eschew certain counterproductive practices and policies.

On the other hand...
I categorically do not recommend ZW to certain demographic candidates. Commuters is at the top of that list. It looks simple enough: you plan out a few easy commuting options, plan on picking up some extra time here and there on the front or back side of your sequence to soften the commute. Man, I'm here to tell you, the best laid plan is just not meeting the reality of the situation intact. And the company is just not inclined to recognize certain empirical realities of it's own at the moment.

Based on the limited information you've posted, I'd suggest giving a long hard look at some of the other options closer to you, even if that means a class date a month or 6 weeks later. If noone else calls, well then I guess Wiskey is the prettiest girl at the dance after all.

I currently don't commute and still would not recommend this place to anyone. The current management for the past 10 years has shown no good will at all, its a very toxic environment right now! I know...should have left years ago, but am leaving very soon. For years under the AA agreement this airline printed $$. Never once tried to give back to the employee group! Other express carriers could share the wealth and show appreciation. All we heard was how expensive we are and need to compete to win! This place was making 50-70 million per year. They believed the good times would continue and we kept hearing in ground school we have no problems attracting pilots. Well now there is a "big" problem and this management knows future growth, that could have happened with the new CPA with UA will never happen without a strong industry leading contract with retention $$ to keep current pilots here. It's obvious to US all failure is occurring very single day.

I did, and they called me yesterday. But the interview it’ll be the same week of starting ground with AW. What I can do is postpone it till August as a back up in case I won’t make it. I passed express jet too and my class is scheduled for the 9th of July. I’ll post pone it too.

I would put expressjet in the same boat as AW. They are a dying airline. Upgrades are over a decade. They just lost half their company to contracts being terminated. Get to PSA, even if t means interviewing when your should be at AW ground school. Stability means more than a class date. Mesa is mailing post cards with class dates on them. They don’t mean anything. You’ll have a job waiting
