Upgrade is now 14 months

The most junior captain award on today's bid was a late June 2017 hire. Not bad.

Actually it’s an early July 2017 hire. I missed one guy.

Sorry, long time reader short time poster. Can you educate me on what you mean by ‘bypassed because of 121hrs’? Thanks. Currently instructing and trying to educate myself on regionals.

You need a thousand SIC to upgrade. It typically takes longer than 14 months to get that. Theoretically a new hire would be eligible for upgrade based on seniority but would lack the flight time to legally accept it.
