Binns New CEO (Bad News)

He has been the president for 2 months now, If you are considering air Wis I wouldn’t look the the other way simply because he is now here. There is no doubt something is up but I think it has more to do with the owners looking for a way out of ownership for retirement. It could be that he was brought on to help them close the place down, or more likely to sell to someone else.

Yea, don’t joke about that haha especially on us impressionable new hire hopefuls.....Have two friends who who flew for MESA and for some reason only call backs they got were from Spirit and Frontier....both were CA’s for a few years. Not saying Spirit and Frontier are terrible places...just thought being CA’s would you get a few more call backs than just two places. When I asked around I was told MESA doesn’t have the best rep for some reason 🤷*♂️. When I asked about ZW was told ‘one of the best in the industry and great to have your name associated with the company and it’s training’, family friend who is an LCA with DA told me that.

If the owners of Air Wisconsin are shopping for a buyer I wouldn’t count Mesa out.

Mesa sends a fair share to SWA, all the cargo outfits, Alaska, Spirit and Frontier. Delta hired someone from there recently and I heard one guy went to American. We had some go UA via CPA.

I’m glad to hear that then and it’s not a ‘across the board’ experience for MESA pilots.

My first foray into the airline industry was as a ramper for Mesa back in ‘06 In PHX...5 months there was 4 and a 1/2 months too long.
