Default Most Junior Captain?

With the new displacement anyone have a clue how long our most junior captain has been here? We went from day one captains to I am guessing 5 year?

Take a look at the back of the contract. I'm on the road but it's longer than 5 years.

The millennial's 9-11. It has arrived. If only I had a dollar each time one told me another downturn like 9-11 would never happen again while flying the line during the last 3 years.

This is ten times worse than 9-11 for our industry. if this was a 9-11 level event early outs and mandatory retirement would probably take most of the pain away.

180 downgrades. Putting total number of captains in the 120s or 130s.

Yikes, thats a 58% cut in CA's...just curious has the company released a fleet plan? Seems like they're preparing for a large majority of airframes to remain parked. I'm sorry.

Haven't seen a fleet plan yet probably because UA doesn't have one yet. Seems to me this displacement is just as much a blind hedge as anything else. They still have some new hires in training and are actively training new LCAs and sim instructors so, lots of mixed messages.
