They were run by United, ownership was intentionally murky, from what I understand that had something to do with the FA contract over there.

Reading that article is depressing. Probably a lot of excitement on growth speculation by the pilot group during those times. Well, I’m going to bed now.

Here’s how we’ll move forward:

virus gets under control or wiped out (eventually)

people go back to work and start earning

consumer confidence returns in order to spend

people start booking travel

flying returns

we go back to work

the problem? We aren’t getting recalled for a long time.

Love the enthusiasm, but only having a fleet of CRJ200’s is going to be a huge problem with the new administration’s ambitions. Oil prices will keep increasing, and that seems to be the intentions of our new leadership. This will help lead to the extinction of the 200’s. Just like those KeyStone XL pipeline employees, Biden doesn’t have your best interests.

I wouldn’t worry though, because it will create new jobs in the EV sector as they’ve stated. So I hope all you Trump haters in this thread are prepared for a career change.

Well, go back a couple of days, and read through the back and forth bantering. We both know the 200’s days are numbered with fuel prices increasing. That’s the end of it, only reason airlines were pulling 200’s out of the dessert was because fuel was cheap. Yet some of these morons are laughing up a Biden victory, which is fine, but the irony of them laughing it up in their position is strong.

Your center point is that oil prices will kill the 200 correct? So what will raise oil to that price? What price point does that occur at? Oil is in the low 50s, which is extremely affordable considering that is 25% off its 200 month average. You mentioned pulling 200s out of storage, did you know that was happing at a price point of $100.
The pandemic flooding the domestic market with seats seems to be the bigger threat to the 50 seater.
