Meh. Interest rates are below inflation meaning eventually we will inflate the debt away. Besides, the deficit matters more than the debt and we could (if we chose to) raise revenue a little to cover the gap. The largest creditor is the Treasury and US bond holders and even so, as long as we are making payments towards the interest in the bonds it doesn't matter much anyway.

As long as the dollar is the reserve currency, we don't need to worry much about the debt in any case.

Further further more, not spending the money to get back on track now will only cost more in the longer run.

Covid was Trump's fault. Right???

Let's set aside Billions of it for Green job killing Energy, and raise the minimum wage to $15 cuz that wont kill jobs either. Scratch that Keystone XL Pipeline too because we all want to go back to $4/gallon gas after this Covid thing is over.

Covid wasn't his fault. Lackluster national leadership leading to one of the worst death rates per capita was pretty much his fault. He could have led by example on masks, large gatherings, basic hygiene...but no he didn't, and no on prevented him from doing it. Was it the deep state that kept a mask off his face? No.

classic mentality...disliking Trump automatically makes the other person a liberal.

Not even worth engaging another indoctrinated MAGA member...see how that works?

Now that all this time has passed, lets compare Florida to California. You keep pushing that CNN Lockdown Mentality. Seems to be working really great for you all on the Left.

https://www.bizpacreview.com/2021/01...ch-up-1018336/

“Florida, which has been more open and less restricted than its West Coast counterpart, has recorded just above 1.5 million cases. Yet California, despite being among the strictest in the nation when it comes to COVID lockdowns, has recorded nearly twice that figure since the start of the pandemic,”

Imagine that!! Where is your "Scientific Stuff" that Trump supporters are dying at a higher rate then Democrats????

Accountability? "oops" https://www.washingtontimes.com/news...cratic-states/

Um, Mr Whiskey, I mentioned masks in my posts I believe, not lockdowns. There is an entire ocean of policy between not wearing masks and forcing a complete lockdown. Former President Trump couldn't even get himself to do the basic health interventions except a couple times.

Also sure, I have no issues criticising the leadership in California. It's just, I don't live there. Nor do I live in North Dakota or Florida which had their own substantial problems. LA County in particular has been having a lot more problems than they ought to have. Nevertheless, that doesn't excuse the national leadership failure.

Failure? What about EVERY OTHER COUNTRY IN THIS GOD GIVEN WORLD? So they are all failures too? Look at Sweden - No Mask Mandate. How did they fare??

https://www.worldtribune.com/swedens...-open-schools/

Stunning, your narrative doesn't work. Perhaps the only reason the US saw a spike so high compared to other countries, wasn't because of "The Mask", but instead, this country's Obesity Pandemic.

The REAL science is ignored by your State Ran Media outlets, CNN MSNBC, PBS ABC, Maddow, Lemon, Cuomo, you know, all those wetting the bed with Biden.

We have the fourth highest fatality per capita in the world. Higher than all but 3 countries in the world! Twice some of our peers like Germany and Canada. So...yes, a failure.

Can you honestly say he did everything he could? Did he demonstrate good public health behavior? That's not an oppressive law, not a shutdown of the country. Just modelling good behavior for others. Did he do everything he could?

No, he didn't.

B.S. If you want to get into an argument about failure on basis protecting human life, then your buddies Biden/Harris just eliminated MILLIONS of human beings with a stroke of a pen:

https://www.nationalreview.com/corne...obal-abortion/

And you know what really stinks? They consciously made this decision. You damn well know that Trump didn't decide to kill millions with a stroke of a pen. Sick minded people like you never get it, do you? You stand on your CNN soapboxes preaching what is morally and ethically right and wrong in respect to what human lives are worthy of living and which ones are not. Biden/Harris - complete utter failure right out of the starting block. Disgusting and pure evil.
