It’s amazing how some of you don’t understand how a business operates. They can’t just pay everyone and keep everyone on staff when the need is not there.
It’s not just air wisconsin. It’s every business. Try running one and then when customers stop showing up try to keep paying your staff to sit around and do nothing. Good luck.

It may be frustrating, but the reality of this market leaves few options. You could have the best employees in the industry and want to keep them loyal and productive, but when the source of revenue gets gutted, the ability to meet those goals gets gutted as well. It’s going to be a rough road. With UAX flying restricted to less than UA NB block, as the industry recovers, the bulk of the UAX lift will be focused on the 175’s, and the remainder trickled down the line. A company only operating 200’s will have a different ability to recall and eventually attract pilots than one that exclusively flys 175’s.
