What's the implication of only four taking the CA upgrade?

The fact that people are bypassing upgrade because no wants to commute to the sh*thole that is Dayton, OH. Even an offer of a contractually illegal 1,500 dollars wasn’t enough.

The issue is the net change. If we gain four but lose 15 each month on a list of approximately 300 CAs, it doesn't take long to have really detrimental effects.

That makes sense. It doesn't sound like too many people are a fan of Dayton. From the outside looking in, what makes Dayton so undesirable?

Commute can be difficult, usually two legs for most, and early start/late finishes. It's a horrible base.

2-leg commute for most people. Nearly all uncommutable pairings, on both ends. Good 40%+ of pairings are split as well, so another hotel in base mid- sequence. I guess the 1500 might cover some of those expenses, but you'll be spending 6 days a week at or getting to/from work.

Speaking of approximately 300 CAs, does anyone know if we ever got back up to the contractually required 305+ CA number?

235 by my quick sh*tty math. I was off quite a bit on my approx 300 estimate. That makes the -10/month net even worse.

Who is eligible for the $1500?
