To me that would be a dream come true, I dunno its sad, I am chasing the 777 type airline & lifestyle, but in reality that is the farthest thing I would like to do..............Ill end up bald, extremely overweight, divorced and probably furloughed a few times, meanwhile I could be drinking Mojitos on my days off with the island girls, me my linen pants and chicas on vacation haha
the beauty of aviation is that you have those choices. as many people try to point out that this industry is in the pooper, the airlines are indeed, but if you look around there are so many opportunities out there for guys with a CMEL, a nice padded logbook, and the ability to network.

Dude...I would be drinking Mojitos on my 'on' days...just have to wait until I punch out of work. If anybody is a Buffett fan, and you've heard the song, "We are the People Our Parents Warned Us About"...that's me (not to the n'th degree though) My dad would have a coniption if I ever took an island job. I'm chasing the big birds too, but my heart is in the islands..."fishin' the pylons...and drinkin' the green lable each day"...

And if anyone can tell me what song I just quoted...I'll give ya a cookie!

I would rather just be bumpin' around in a Twotter on floats or a Van on floats, day VFR, doing the island thing...that would be a dream come true my friends...

Flying is a great job, it is all the crap that goes with the job which makes your hair grey at times ie. unions, pay, senority, upgrade, pc's...etc. Sometimes I think about doing what SAAB talks about taking flying which we all love and do it somewhere and for someone who will make it enjoyable. Yeah, you will most likely make big bucks but I know I would be happy.

Something I think about sometimes...

Pardon my sucky spelling. And that kicks butt that you got to hear him play that in a little pub Biloxi. The closest I have gotten to JB, other than at concerts, was driving his sisters next door neighbor to pick up a Scout on floats that he purchased. Kind of wierd bumping into him...

Anyway...enjoy the new year fellas.
