No, you're not the only one with a problem with that. Which is why I doubt very much that it went anywhere and now this has devolved into the usual speculation about what the owners of Air Wisconsin might or might not want to do.

Well I guess the rumor hasn't made it to you guys yet. It's being thrown around right now over here between line guys. Not sure why, but it makes sense.

How does it make sense? How would this effect both pilot groups. I know you guys have a very, very good contract. I know we are much, much smaller, but who would be the surviving carrier? Before anyone says duh, expressjet, just remember AWAC is owned by 6 very, very, very wealthy men who do not share financial numbers with anyone.

I ask these questions hoping anyone can chime in, I honestly don't mean any flame throwing or anything.

First off.....if jesus hated the yankees he wouldnt have made them so good!

Secondly....every man has his price.....if our owners are very content with they amount of cash they have raked in from this place (rest assure they are), and being the savvy conservatives they are, are worried about this future of US Airways/3 major contracts being due??? They could easily walk away from it all and buy a few small islands and retire

He is right, the Amigos (owners) don't mess around. These guys don't put money down hoping they will double it. When they put a $1 down it turns into $10....and they know it. So they aren't going to go into any deal because it "feels good", the money will already be flowing into their pockets before the paperwork is even signed. For now they have no problem rolling around in their bed of cash

In this most unlikely event, please explain how you would be the best pilots in Mexico.
