Air Wisconsin Emergency in PHL today?
#11
Come on, guys --- six postings from five people on the subject of one of our fellow pilots declaring an emergency and the only thing that seems to come to mind is filling out the get-out-jail-free form!
There has to be something more important to discuss than the ramifications of filing a ASAP or NASA form and how either the company or the regulators are going to screw you.

Make no mistake. The union dropped the ball on this one. Most of the pilot group is ****ed. The garbage the union is spewing at the moment barely even resembles a slanted truth. They are trying to paint a picture that just isn't accurate at all. I'm not gonna comment on it any further, but our MEC really let us down (more than usual) this time.
As far as the incident.... haven't heard anything. Sorry.

As compared to what, the company? Don't get me wrong, I'm ****ed about it too. And while it might be slanted true (I don't necessarily agree with you), it is the truth. That's more than I can say for what our weaseling Director, (cough cough) I mean Vice President of Flight Operations, has written.
As far as the incident.... haven't heard anything. Sorry.
