ZW's AA contract expires in Q1 2018 with no new flying expected as of now. Essentially, they have no visible future.
One side thinks it'll close down, the other is holding on to some hope they'll secure more flying for AA or another mainline carrier.
With the movement happening at other regionals, it pains me to suggest you consider other options at this time. ZW is just too much of a gamble right now.

Air Willy is a awesome company. But privately owned. Not sure the owners want to invest billions in E175's. Thats what the major partners want... i think they will just extend there contract 2 years at a time untill the planes time out.. my take..

if you never want to upgrade ever and be unemployed potentially a year from now and have the 2nd worst pay in the industry with a stalemate contract. Awac is the place for you. That's not being mean it's reality. They lost 5 percent of Their pilot group literally last month and have been losing 15-20 a month since spring al while hiring 2-5 guys to fix that

They won't have the pilots there to extend it 2 years at a time. Plus most of the large RJ's at the Legacy carriers are capped out with their scope. Does you know good to buy a bunch of 175's if you got nobody to fly them for.

Ok. I'll play along. I'm referring to the guaranteed interview program. Not a true flow but if you meet certain metrics and time requirements and you get to interview. Of the passage of said interview falls on the candidate so nothing is truly guaranteed unexceptional for getting the interview. Delta wants everyone to earn the job not just be entitled to it once your number is called.
