For military it's 2,000 total or 1,200 in high performance military aircraft. For rotor wing guys, 50% of rotor time can count towards 1,000 hrs for the mins.

In order to get hired without a degree you'll need significant aviation credentials, which in the civilian world means flight time.

I am as excited as anyone about lower minimums, but is there any indication that what is competitive is going to be any less? I have less than a 3.0 GPA but 4,000 plus hours and a significant amount of TPIC. Just curious if there is any word on the street. Thanks.

Alaska does not care about GPA. Only United and Delta.
