I assure you this is a titanic disaster for Boeing and is quickly becoming a disaster for AS. I would attempt to give a timeline but it seems to slip by the day. I know our order has protections and the longer this takes the more likely we see significant changes to it.

One would hope that they did not put all their eggs in one Max basket. Hopefully they have other options for airframe growth outside of the 175/190.

They have NEO positions, right?

Nothing to fear, they’re just being used to develop the route and get customer loyalty.

This time they promise it’ll be done by end of August.. they mean it this time. We heart Boeing and stand by them in this trying time, even though they were criminally negligent and have the blood of nearly 400 blindly trusting passengers on their hands... profits over safety boys!! Two similar aligning philosophies from Alaska and Boeing I guess.

Ps my last leg flying for Alaska I got the pleasure of flying an Airbus with 7 MELs!!! S E V E N ! Ready Safe Go

I had an APU that had been deferred for 8 days a few trips ago. That blown slide is a direct result of management incompetence.

100% agreed. This place is one embarrassment after another. This isn't a FFD airline where UAL/DAL/AAL is breathing down their neck threatening to pull their contract unless they cut costs - this is a major airline with one of the highest profit margins in the industry.

Also, the fact that the cross-training for the FA's was so hurried and poor and didn't even include a single OE flight is criminally negligent IMO.

Browsing this thread and other MAX threads, it is woefully obvious too many pilots don’t know what “criminally negligent” really means.
