What I WOULD like to know is if people like OTZ and MEA claim they are only trying to help the pilots, if they do truly know this inside information, why haven’t they ever let any of their union members know what they know?? Or are they more interested in protecting management and the fake web board persona than the relationship with their fellow pilots?

How do you know that union leadership doesn't know??? Past experience will show that the union leadership (like mgmt) will say everything is ok, right up to the point that they let you know it's not. They need a certain amount of people to come to work and give 100%.
If you are on the bubble, or below, you would be well advised to keep plan B lined up and even accept a job that my help ride this out, and that goes for every airline company.
Read the ALPA news feed, there isn't an airline in the WORLD that hasn't either furloughed or announced furloughs. Our govt poured some money on to the situation to halt the bad news, but unless this virus changes course quickly, even the US aviation industry will join the rest.

MAYBE.....one of them was heavily involved in LEC/MEC leadership. MAYBE.......the other has the inside scoop from the union leadership. The current union leadership is well aware of a shi$load of info good and bad. They have the power to meter that info out as they please to the membership. MAYBE.....leaking info that the union hasn’t decided to disseminate to members due to pending research on accuracy on a public web forum is undermining the LEC/MEC. You be the judge. Some of their spewed info has proven to be accurate. I am not a fan of either OTZ/MEA posts or implied personas.

Management is giving info to the union, and then the union is withholding it? (sometimes there's a reason, NDA)

I'd be more inclined to believe one of them is dating a VP's secretary or somethng.
