I think most of you will quickly change your mind about JL. He really is a gentleman, and just a good dude. He has definitely hit the company cool aide pretty hard for a decade 😂😂. I think they have beat all that goodwill out of him these last few months. He bought the drinks before his management journey, he treats people well, enjoy it, he is not trying to buy any loyalty. Maybe try giving him a chance.

There’s THAT kinda leadership and then there’s everybody else. Anybody in that office for that long with THIS management is there for one thing…. Themselves. So good on him. Hope it was worth it.

I would be very careful what you wish for regarding an acquisition by Southwest if you are an Alaska pilot.

Nope but I won’t be on the side of AS if they get acquired by WN.

Trust me, few people (at least those of us who have worked for more than one airline) at WN are interested in a merger either. Ten year upgrade is plenty long enough without a merger adding numbers in front of us on the list.

I am very excited to see the legacy AS pilots who said VX should be stapled, advocate to be stapled once WN buys us...
