Ok Bro….
And you don’t think I did my homework before coming here? It’s very condescending, naive, and superficial for you to think I wouldn’t have.
I’m still trying to figure why your upset, when you said the same thing as me. I said it’s crap we don’t have a contract and it’s taking this long. Other than than that the co-workers are great and I like the job. It’s pathetic people get ripped apart on here for god forbid saying they like it otherwise….

Don’t be amused by Alaskas’ hourly rates. Straight pay vs soft pay is what matters. That is one of the main reasons Alaska has high attrition to DL/UA/FX/AA etc. Being sub 40 at Alaska will cost you a lot of money and days off over the next 25 years.
Plain and simple. Seniority and pay. The work rules are also terrible, but those aren’t the biggest factors in attrition.

Do the math in regards to career seniority movement at Alaska as well as pay rates compared to the big 3 and big cargo. If you’re young then you’re foolish for staying or coming to Alaska.
