Retro pay for the Covid years, super smart guy. Yeah, retro for a period of time when airlines lost 40 billion… yeah there is a lot of retro in those great years!

on a lighter note 46 to 7 on my PM’s now

Dude, why are you in such a hurry to champion and promote a TA that doesn’t pay you full retro? Are you not entitled to the retro pay for all the overtime you guys did? Don’t sell you or your peers short. As you say AK has to keep up. Vote no and see what TA2 brings.

United’s AIP “retro” worth $18,000 really boned everyone. Good luck trying to get your airline to give you full retro, which includes Covid times.

Vote no to extend the process out 6 months till ratification thereby delaying scheduling implementation for 6 additional months because it takes time to teach and implement a completely new scheduling system. Brilliant. What y’all smoking over there?

Horizon voted down their first TA in July. Passed the second one in September. No reason to take another 6 months.

Were they also in mediation before that? I honestly dont know. Lets say we vote no and then the company asks to return to mediation since they've changed their stance, that could be much longer than 6 months.

Horizon simply did what all the other regionals were doing. There was no reason our current negotiations should've taken longer than six months according to our CEO, but here we are any way. Are we really going to compare all majors to regionals? If so, do we then implement 18 and 20 year pay scales too??????? Asking for a friend

Any airline switching from line bidding to a new PBS system takes time, including practice parallel runs. This is one area you can’t rush. There are financial penalties if they try to drag it out more than agreed.

In fact its been mentioned to expect 16 to 18 months to finalize. But who listens to those union communications any way

United's "Tumi TA" isn't a ratified deal. It looks like it won't be ratified. Massive recall and replace effort going on at United right now given how atrocious the Tumi TA was. So, no, the unratified Tumi TA didn't bone everyone because, so far, the United pilot group has rejected it.
